Delete your Crate Cruiser account and data
Crate Cruiser: Vinyl Organizer, by Mack Makes. This page explains how to delete the account the app keeps for your backup, and what is deleted.
In the app
- Open Crate Cruiser and go to Settings.
- Under Backup, tap Delete backup.
- Confirm. If you signed in with Google or Apple, you are asked to choose the same account again, to confirm it is you; if you signed in with an email address, you may be asked for your password.
That deletes your account and everything held for it straight away. Your shelf on the phone itself stays as it is; delete the app to remove that too.
Without the app
Email makes@mackbrowne.com from the address you signed in with, or with the address you used, and ask for your Crate Cruiser account to be deleted. It is done within 30 days and you get a reply when it is.
What is deleted
- Your backup: every record copied from your shelf.
- Your account, with the email address and the Google or Apple details it held. For Sign in with Apple, the app is also removed from your Apple Account's list of apps that use it.
- Your Premium purchase records: ours, and RevenueCat's record of you as a customer, along with your Look closer counts.
Deleting your account does not cancel a Premium subscription. Apple or Google bills it: cancel it in the App Store (Settings › your name › Subscriptions) or in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions), or it renews.
What is kept, and for how long
- Crash reports, for up to 90 days. They carry no name, email or account, so they cannot be found by account to delete early.
- Matching data you chose to send, for up to 90 days. It is not stored against your account, so it cannot be found to delete early either.
- Nothing else. The photos and your shelf never leave your phone unless you choose to send them.
